Project impact analysis will be developed throughout the course of project lifetime with the goal to evaluate impact of the project MERIA according to its specific objectives. Baseline for the impact analysis will be the analysis of teachers’ needs and barriers for IBMT. The identification of learning and teaching requirements will be based on examples of good practice in inquiry-based education developed in Practical guide in IBMT and survey of national documents (curricula, reports) in the partnering countries.
Project impact analysis will comprise data, experiences and reports on qualitative analysis on teachers' needs and barriers before and after the implementation of other parts of the project MERIA in partner countries. Impact of the project will be measured in several secondary schools in partner countries.
The analysis will provide better understanding of the differences and similarities among the educational systems in partnership countries, show the needs and barriers for teachers’ professional development and provide a way to measure project impact.
